Use your best china

I wrote a guest blog post about this idea of using your best things now for the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. You can read it by clicking here.

This beautiful vase was passed down to me from my aunt from her mother when she passed away. It mostly sits in a display cabinet because I think it's 'too good' to use for an every day moment and I should wait for a special occasion. I'm not sure what kind of occasion I would deem special enough to use it, so I'm using it anyway and feeling special in the every day moments. A flower in this vase on my dining table for my meals is a great way to slow down and appreciate the special moment of eating.
